
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT SHOTS WILL MY DOG NEED?
We request that all dogs are up to date on their shots. The shots that they must have before attending our facility are DAPP (a.k.a. DHPP) vaccine, Rabies vaccine, Bordetella (formerly called canine kennel cough) vaccine.
HOW DO I REQUEST TO BOOK A SERVICE WITH YOU ALL?
Go to the booking tab and select which service you would like to book by hitting the "book now" tab. This will take you to our booking system (Kennel Booker) where you will create a profile and then have access to book any of our services with us. HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU HAVE AT ONCE?
We only sit/train 5-7 dogs at once since we already have our own dogs, and all animals will have a temperament test done to determine if they can be placed with other dogs.
WILL YOU COME MEET MY PET AND I BEFORE WE BOOK?
Yes! Here at Purple Pups ATL we believe in the meet and greets. This is a perfect time to ask any questions about your sitter/trainer and also give your pet a chance to warm up to their sitter/trainer. Please note that if it is raining that day we will have to reschedule due to the weather.
ARE YOUR STAFF CPR OR FIRST AID TRAINED FOR ANIMALS?
Yes, Alyssa and Zach are both CPR and First Aid trained.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL MY BOOKING?
If given prior notice of at least 7 days before booking a refund will be given to the card that was used. If the booking is cancelled within six days timeframe before the start day of the booking then a credit of the stay price will be given to use at a later date.
HOW WILL I BE UPDATED ABOUT MY DOG THROUGHOUT THEIR STAY?
All clients will receive updates when they are boarding with us. At Purple Pups ATL, we understand that being away from your pup can be difficult, and we know how important it is for clients to feel connected and informed throughout their dog’s stay with us. To help provide peace of mind while also maintaining the structure and consistency necessary for successful training, we provide client updates three (3) times per week, which include training video content as well as a minimum of two (2) photos per week.
Our goal is to keep you meaningfully updated on your dog’s progress, development, and training journey while allowing our trainers to remain fully focused on delivering the highest level of care, attention, and hands-on training possible. While we do our very best to keep clients informed and connected, clients acknowledge that daily updates are not guaranteed, as our priority is the quality, consistency, and success of each dog’s program.
WILL I BE ABLE TO VISIT OR SEE MY DOG DURING TRAINING SERVICES?
All training clients, depending on the length of training, will receive at minimum one in home visit during training.
EX: 4 weeks board and train program will receive an in home visit during the 2nd week mark and 3rd week for our six week program.
Hours of Operation
At Purple Pups ATL, our standard hours of operation are 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM. These hours are designated for client communication, scheduled appointments, training sessions, drop-offs, and pick-ups.
We understand that scheduling needs may vary, and we do our best to accommodate our clients whenever possible. Early drop-offs and late pick-ups may be arranged on a case-by-case basis with prior approval.
*Please note that while our facility remains fully operational, client training lessons are not scheduled on Wednesdays. This dedicated day allows our team to focus on training progression, program development, and individualized attention for each dog in our care.
